This week I'm trying something a little different, recording a cover instead of an original. I've really liked this song for a few years now. The repetition in the lyrics, very innocent and joyful, almost with a 'simpler time' allure. I started noodling around with it last week and found that there was a lot I could do arrangement-wise with two guitars picking out melodies in an open tuning. One thing led to another and I've got a cover that incorporates mine own approach.
