Little Atlas came together in a time when I was very overwhelmed. I was midway through my school year, trying to put something together to impress a label who I was in talks with, and it was the middle of December. I was going to school when it was dark and leaving when it was dark. I went back to put the finishing touches on this demo well aware that I've come around to feeling somewhat the same. There's a lot on my shoulders right now. Just as it was last year, delving into this song was a way to forget about it. No emails, no schedules, just this take, that effect, and Ezra and I making odd noises into a microphone.
